Good evening, Cavalier families! This is just a few reminders as we head into another great week at East Rutherford High School.

See You at the Pole: Students are invited to participate in See You at the Pole on Wednesday morning. We hope students will join us for this special student-led event.

Two Parent Portals—What’s the Difference? We encourage parents and guardians to have an account for both Infinite Campus and Canvas.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal is your source for official student information, including report card grades, attendance, and demographic information such as your address, phone number, and email.
Canvas Parent gives you a closer look at your student’s day-to-day learning. You can view current grades and assignments, see upcoming due dates, follow class announcements, and communicate with teachers.
An easy way to remember: Infinite Campus = official school records. Canvas = what’s happening in class right now. Both platforms also have parent apps, making it easy to stay connected from your phone or tablet.

Good evening, Cavalier families! Here are a few important reminders as we head into the week.
📚 Progress Reports & Grades: We are approaching the halfway point of the first nine weeks. Please check your student’s grades in the Parent Portal and encourage them to stay on top of assignments.
📝 Absence Notes: Beginning Monday, September 14, students will have 5 days after returning to school to submit an excuse note for an absence. For any absences that occurred before September 14, excuse notes must be submitted by Friday, September 18.
📸 Picture Day: Underclassmen pictures will be taken on Thursday, September 17. All underclassmen must have their picture taken for the yearbook. Seniors do not need to have their picture taken.
Students should follow the school dress code for pictures. Please remember that shirts should not have words or large logos, and spaghetti straps and bandannas are not permitted.

Good evening, Cavalier families! Just a few reminders as we head into the week. There is no school Monday in observance of Labor Day. We’ll see everyone back at school Tuesday morning!
2027 yearbooks are now on sale, and senior families can also begin ordering Senior Recognition Ads. Payment plans are available for both.
Also, a reminder that students with an unpaid Fall Technology Fee or outstanding device damages will become day users beginning Tuesday. Payments can be made in the school office.
We have another busy week for Cavalier athletics, so come out and support our students when you can! You can find all the details, links, deadlines, and this week’s athletic schedule in our Weekly Update online.

Hello, Cavalier families!
We want to make sure all of our families are connected through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. The portal is a great way to stay up to date on your student’s attendance, schedule, report card grades, and other important information. Parents will also use the portal to complete the Annual Update and make sure we have the most current contact information on file.

If you haven’t created your account yet, be on the lookout for your activation code. Codes were emailed on Friday to parents with an email address on file, and we’ll also be sending activation letters home with students on Monday or Tuesday. Instructions for setting up your Parent Portal account can be found on our school website.
