My educational philosophy is driven by the belief that everybody is somebody and each student has a different learning style capacity.  As a teacher it is my responsibility to know the different learning styles of the student while teaching in a strategic capacity to allow students to learn at their own level.  A proverb comes to my mind when I think about students' learning styles:  Tell me, I forget.  Show me, I remember.  Involve me, I understand.  A good caring teacher will be able to empower students with the ability to learn and accomplish their educational goals through continued learning.  Education has become an important part of my life.  I now see myself as a lifelong learner.  Being a lifelong learner I will continually learn and develop my teaching strategies through research, experience, and interaction with other teachers and students.  The reason I desire to be a Teacher is to share what I have acquired through learning, teaching and working with youth.  I would like for my students to see through my eyes and even see further at a greater distance than my eyes will take them.  I want to show and teach students to visualize what their lives will be like in their future with the advancement of technology.  Being a Microsoft IT Academy and Multimedia Webpage design teacher, it is imperative for me to employ technology in my instruction, because it is so prevalent in today's society. The tools that student's gather in my classes, such as creating and designing webpages, graphics design,  using word to create business document, using excel for charts and graphs, and PowerPoints for presentations, these classroom tools can be used to help students' solve problems in the 21st century working world.  As a Career Management Teacher, my main objective is for students to find their ultimate career pathway through the use of assessment tools, while preparing them for the 21st century working environment.  Teaching is very challenging.  I could say that I was very naive in realizing how much time, energy, and planning is involved in teaching.  Teaching is a very demanding job, but it can be very rewarding when you see students proceed beyond the stage of novice to a learner.  At this stage of a learner students can present their acquired information learned to other students through role play, case studies, cooperative group activities and Keynote presentations.
